How are you these days? I’m writing to tell you my trouble with my parents.
In my opinion, my parents are too strict with me. They expect too much of me but I really can’t live up to their expectations. Besides, they often compare me with my neighbor who is considered better, which makes me rather depressed. And they even don’t allow me to watch TV or surf the Internet because they think it’s a waste of time. What’s more, I can’t make friends with girls because it may influence my study. In one word, I feel that there is a wide generation gap between us, and therefore we can’t communicate with each other freely, much less exchange views.
Till now I haven’t found a good solution to these problems. I would be grateful if you could do me a favor to talk to my parents and persuade them to change the way of education. I’m looking forward to your reply.
