1.時間狀語從句: 在時間狀語從句中.要注意時態(tài)一致.一般情況下主句是將來時的時候.從句要用一般現(xiàn)在時.可以引導(dǎo)時間狀語從句的連詞很多.根據(jù)意義和主從句之間的時間關(guān)系.又可分類如下: (1)表示同時性.即主從句的謂語動作同時發(fā)生或幾乎同時發(fā)生. 其連詞有:when , while, as, onceas soon as, the time, the moment, by the time, next time, the first time, the last time.immediately, instantly,directly以下關(guān)聯(lián)詞引起的句子中.前面常用過去完成時.后面用一般過去時hardly /scarcely-when-, no sooner-than- Strike while the iron is hot.趁熱打鐵. While I am washing the floor, you can be cleaning the windows. 我洗地板的時候.你可以擦窗戶. As / When I came home, I met an old schoolmate of mine.我回家的時候遇到了我的一位老同學. He had hardly finished when someone rose to refute his points.他還沒說完就有人起來反駁他的論點 She had scarcely fallen asleep when a knock at the door awakened her.她剛要睡著.忽然敲門的聲音把她驚醒. ★as.when.while用法一覽表 類別 作 用 例 句 as as表示“當--的時候 .往往和when/ while通用.但它著重強調(diào)主句與從句的動作或事情同時或幾乎同時發(fā)生.如果從句和主句要表示一個人的兩個動作交替進行或同時完成時.則多用as.可譯為“一邊.......一邊...... She came up as I was cooking. The runners started as the gun went off. He looked behind from to time as he went. 他一邊走.一邊不時地往后看. As time goes on, it’s getting warmer and warmer..隨著時間的推移.天氣變得越來越暖了. when (at or during the time that )既可以表示在某一點的時候.又可表示在某一段時間內(nèi).主句與從句的動作或事情可以同時發(fā)生也可以先后發(fā)生.如果表示從句的動作在主句的動作“之前 或“之后 發(fā)生時.多用when, 不用as或 while.此外.when還含有“at that moment 的意思.引起的句子不能放在句首.也不能用as, while來替換. It was raining when we arrived. When we were at school, we went to the library every day. We were watching TV when suddenly the lights went out.我們正在看電視.這時燈突然滅了. They had just arrived home when it began to rain.他們剛到家.這時天就開始下雨了. while while意思是“當--的時候 或“在某一段時間里 .主句中的動作或事情在從句中的動作或事情的進展過程中發(fā)生.從句中的動詞一般要用延續(xù)性動詞.在when表示a period of time時.兩者可以互換. 當主從句之間表示轉(zhuǎn)折或?qū)Ρ汝P(guān)系時.多用while, 不用as或when Please don’t talk so loud while others are working. He fell asleep while/when reading. Strike while the iron is hot.(用as或when不可.這里的while意思是“趁-- ) She thought I was talking about her daughter, while in fact, I was talking about my daughter.她以為我在談?wù)撍畠?而事實上.我在談?wù)撐业呐畠? (2)表示先時或后時.即主句的謂語動作發(fā)生在從句之前或之后. 主要連詞有:after(在--之后.before, when等.如: After / When the children had gone to bed, she began to prepare her lessons. 孩子睡覺了以后她開始備課.(從句的動作發(fā)生在主句的動作之前.所以從句用了過去完成時) He had learned English for three years before he went to London. 他去倫敦之前已學了三年英語. (主句的動作發(fā)生在從句的動作之前.所以主句用了過去完成時) 常用句型:It is/was/will be -before- 要過多久才- It will be another five days before we finish this task. 還要再過5天我們才能完成這個任務(wù). It isn’t/ wasn’t/won’t be - before- 沒有過多久就- It was not long before I forgot it all. 我沒有過多久就全忘了. He ran off before I could stop him.(主句和從句的動作幾乎同時發(fā)生.時態(tài)一致) 我還沒來得及阻止他他就跑掉了.(注意before在漢語中的譯義) (3)表示習慣性.經(jīng)常性.即從句描述的不是一次性動作.而是經(jīng)常發(fā)生的習慣性動作. 主要連詞有every time, each time等. Whenever we met with difficulties, they came to help us.每當我們遇上困難的時候他們就來幫我們 Each time he came to town he would visit our school.他每次進城.總要來看看我們的學校. Every time I went to his house, he was out.我每次去他家.他都出去了. (4)表示持續(xù)性或瞬間性 主要連詞有:since,ever since,until(直到--才/為止,till 常用句型: It is /was-since- It is just a week since we arrived here.我們到這兒剛剛一星期. (主句的動作或狀態(tài)持續(xù)時間較短.不能用ever since) You have been reading to me ever since James went out. 自從James走后你一直在給我朗讀. (ever 放在since之前是用來表示說話者強調(diào)主句動作或狀態(tài)持續(xù)時間長) The big clock which used to strike the hours day and night was damaged during the war and has been silent ever since.( ever since可以放在句末. since則不能) 這只一向日夜不停打點報時的大鐘在戰(zhàn)爭中損壞了.從此就一直不響了. My uncle went to Tibet in 1951. He has been living there ever since.我叔叔于1951年去了西藏.從那以后他一直生活在那里. Things went well until / till one night an accident happened.事情一切正常直到一天晚上發(fā)生意外 I knew nothing about it until / till he told me. 他告訴我了我才知道. ★until與till及 not-until / till的用法 ①until和till都可表示“直到......為止 .與持續(xù)性動詞的肯定式連用.如: He waited until / till we finished our meal.他一直等到我們吃完飯. ②當until和till表示“直到......才...... 時.通常與短暫動詞的否定式連用.這時.until和till也可用before代替.如: I didn’t leave until / till / before she came back.直到她回來.我才離開的. ③be動詞的肯定式和否定式都可以和until或till連用. ④until引導(dǎo)的從句可以放在主句之前或主句之后.但till從句一般不放在句首.如: Until he told me, I knew nothing about it.他告訴我了我才知道. 當not until位于句首時.主句中的主語.謂語要使用倒裝語序: Not until she came back did I leave. = I didn’t leave until she came back. 在強調(diào)句型中一般用until.不用till.如: It was not until she took off her dark glasses that I realized she was a famous film star. 查看更多
