I used to be the messiest person alive. Over the years, through watching others and by trial and error, I have finally found ways to come up with plans, organize them and follow through with them.
Make an outline of everything you need to have and do to make your plan happen. Make a list of all of the steps that need to be accomplished and think about what needs to be done.
Detail everything thoroughly and read over it so you can start coming up with some mental solutions of how to carry out your plans.
You should ensure that if for some reason way one doesn’t work, you have way two and way three to lean back on. Therefore, different ways are needed at hand. It’s just a matter of being organized. Chances are that there is always more than one way of doing things, and chances are that if one of the other ones will.
Committing yourself to finishing at least at least part if not all of your plan at once is also necessary. It will show that you not only have initiative to get things rolling, but that you are interested in the results obtained with making the move to get everything done.
If you make a commitment to finish before a specific time, make sure that you carry that out, and be sure to do everything in the way you said you would, within the time-frame you set for your self.
Don’t try to tackle more things all at a time. All that does is to delay your progress, distract you and make you lose your interest, motivation and energy.
Carrying out an effective plan requires being as organized as possible. You will only achieve this by sticking to the order of the plan and not turn away from it or trying to do more at a time.
Last but not least, you should never abandon things mid-project. It will only annoy everyone around
you including yourself. Unfinished plans are a waste of time, energy and, in some cases, even money.
So, don’t be afraid of organization. The older we get, the more necessary it becomes to have the skills necessary to follow through with confidence and to be able to carry through plans in an organized and manageable way. It pays to be organized, after all.

The Chong Yang Festival is celebrated on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, and it is also known as the Double Ninth Festival.
The festival began as early as the Warring States Period (475BC-221BC). According to the yin/yang dichotomy(二分法), yin represents the elements of darkness and yang represents life and brightness. Among Chinese numbers, nine belongs to positive numbers and it is regarded as yang. The ninth day of the ninth lunar month is a double yang day; hence people start to say Chong Yang Festival. The ninth month also predicts the approach of winter. It is a time when the living need warm clothing, and Chinese sons and daughters extended this to make the festival a time for providing winter clothes for their ancestors. The Double Ninth Festival, therefore, also became an occasion to visit the graves of dead family members. Clothes made of paper would be burned as offerings.
The Double Ninth Festival sees various activities. On the Double Ninth Festival, people usually climb mountains, appreciate chrysanthemums (菊花), drink chrysanthemums wine, and eat cakes. Ancient people thought climbing a mountain on this day could help them avoid misfortune and prevent disasters, and this gradually evolved into a relaxat
ion and exercise.
Ancient people used to wear cornel (山茱萸) and admire chrysanthemums. Cornel is a kind of plant with edible(可食用的) fruit, while its stem and leaves have medicinal value. To prevent plague(瘟疫) and drive off smelly smells, people wear cornel and chrysanthemums on the Double Ninth Festival, and drink tea and wine made from the flowers.
Nowadays many people will still climb mountains, admire chrysanthemums, appreciate the beautiful scenery of autumn and eat cakes. In recent years, new contents have been added into this ancient festival, which has become a time to show respect for the elderly. People hold various activities in honor of senior citizens, wishing them good health and a long life.
The Double Ninth Festival is also a time for family get-togethers. It is an occasion to remember one’s ancestors, the sacrifices they made and the hardships they underwent. Often, family outings are organized during which people search to renew their appreciation of nature and to reaffirm(重申) their love and concern for family members and close friends.

It's common for kids of all ages to experience school anxiety - school-related stress. This is often most apparent at the end of summer when school is about to start again, but it can occur year-round.Where does the stress and anxiety come from?
Teachers
A good experience with a caring teacher can cause a lasting impression on a child's life—so can a bad experience. While most teachers do their best to provide student
s with a positive educational experience, some students are better suited for certain teaching styles and classroom types than others. If there's a mismatch (不協(xié)調(diào)) between student and teacher, a child can form lasting negative feelings about school or his own abilities.
Friends
Friends can also be a source of stress.Concerns about not having enough friends, not being in the same class as friends, not being able to keep up with friends in one particular area or another, and interpersonal conflicts are a few of the very common ways kids can be stressed by their social lives at school.Dealing with these issues alone can cause anxiety in even the most confident kids.
Bullies (欺凌弱小者)
Things have changed in the world of bu
llies since I was a kid.The good news is that
teachers and parents are paying more attention. Many schools now have anti-bullying pro-
grams and policies.Though bullying does still happen, help is generally more easily accessible
than before.
The bad news is that bullying has gone high-tech.Many students use the Internet, cell phones and other media devices to bully other students, and this type of bullying often gets very aggressive. One rea
son is that bullies can be anonymous (匿名的) and enlist other bullies to make their targets miserable.Another reason is that they don't have to face their targets. So it's easier to get rid of any empathy that they may otherwise feel. There are ways to fight against "cyber-bullying", but many parents aren't aware of them - and many bullied kids feel too overwhelmed to deal with the situation.![]()

The e-book is a downloadable book that can be put right onto your e-reader, certain cell-phones and computers. There are websites that sell e-books where you can buy them and load them right onto whatever device you choose. The e-book makes it possible to take reading with you, without the mess of carrying dozens of books around with you.
However, not all book authors are okay with having their books in digital format(格式). The writer of Harry Potter says that her books will never be an e-book, and many just like her feel the same way. However, there are lots of authors who absolutely love the idea and feel it’s the next step to keep books alive.
The e-book can be loaded onto an e-reader which is a mini-device that is slim and compact just like a cell phone. It usually has a touch pad screen and can hold a few hundred books. That ’s perfect news for people who travel on planes or go on holidays and would love to take a collection with them but wouldn’t carry fifty hard covers.
The other great thing about e-readers is that you can read e-books on them quickly and there’s no need for two hands to hold the book and turn the page; it is more convenient for people to read it. Most of them also have a nightlight, so if you want to read at night but don’t want a big light on to wake your partner, the e-reader is ideal. You can also use it on a plane, train or bus when it’s dark.
Websites that sell e-books have their sites looking just like ordinary bookstore websites. There is a list for best sellers and a new release section. There are also e-books on sale and gift certificates available to give to someone who also downloads e-books. They seem to cost the same amount of money as buying a paperback book.
