     Our teachers and friends are important for us. I had such an experience when I was in junior school. I was doing badly in maths at that time. However hard I tried, I just couldn’t catch up with others. I almost lost heart when we had a new maths teacher, Mr Hu, now and then he talked with me, telling me the ways to learn maths and encouraging me to keep on trying, Only then did I realize that I was not studying maths in a scientific way. With his help, I was doing a little better gradually. One year later, I made amazing progress.

    I am always grateful to Mr Hu, without whom I would never have adopted the proper approach to learning maths .
