Smoking has brought about some bad effects. Smoking has become the top killer of the Chinese population. Besides, the medical and economic costs of smoking-related diseases in China are more than the financial benefits provided for the country by the tobacco industry. Therefore, it is necessary to ban smoking in China.

   We can take some measures to ban it. For example, a smoker caught smoking shall be fined 10 yuan.

Anti-smoking in China is significant. It will make public places smoking-free areas where the non-smokers won’t suffer from the effects of secondhand smoke.
