      A 5. 7-magnitude earthquake happened on the border (邊界) of Yunnan and Sichuan provinces at 3:59 p.m. on June 24 ,2012.Two minutes later,a 3. 3-magnitude aftershock was followed.               Shaolin Temple 

     On August 1,2010,Shaolin Temple and its Pagoda Forest were taken as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織世界遺產(chǎn)地) as part of the “ Historic Monuments of Dengfeng” .
