For example, in China many children volunteer to become guides in museums. They receive history lessons so that they can tell old stories of the museums to visitors.

Although volunteering takes up our time and can be difficult sometimes, it shows our care for others and changes the way we look at ourselves. Sometimes it’ s easy to worry about grades or get angry because we don’ t have the most expensive sneakers (運(yùn)動(dòng)鞋). Volunteering gives us a chance to think about what we have, and the truly important things in our life. Maybe this is the reason why more and more people would like to be volunteers.
